Isn't it cyclically beautiful to look back on one's life and see all that has brought you to this moment of today. Everything that has happened is unexpected or determined, happy or depressing, but surely always beautiful. When I reflect back upon all that builds up to where I am today, I smile for what my life has grown to be. A smile comes for how impossible it would have been, and is, to predict that this all could have happened. Everything that has been experienced and all that is to come holds intention, meaning, and beauty.
As a child, my father's job required the family to move every year or so from state to state. Around the age of ten, we moved to Columbus, Ohio and there is where I met my now pen pal. Who would've thought that later on in life we'd end up as pen pals. For the past four years, we've exchanged letters on our past and current experiences. It's as if life is slowly being narrated and shared with a friend. Through the exchange of letters, unscripted emotion and stories are freely written. Having a pen pal has been a beautiful and silly time well spent. Grateful for the thoughtful interactions my life holds.
