Finals week has begun and is taking over my life; so there is no better way to study for psychology tests than to do what I love...create little ceramic baskets. Though I am fully aware of the consequences of procrastinating at such an inopportune time, I needed to act on releasing some stress by playing with glorious clay. The product of my procrastination turned out to be better than I had imagined. As the baskets were being fired in Betty B, the most beautiful high-fire kiln to exist, I began to write notes to all the lovely studio friends. Who would've thought that sharing studio space with unique individuals would end with such care towards another. I am thankful that these beautiful people have entered my life, affected my being, and provided lessons that I will forever cherish. This school year has taught me that doing what you truly love brings the good into one's life. Such passions will always be tended to; the spark will never go out.
